Arete,
i get the sense you are saying goodbye to your dear kitty as in s/he has returned to the rainbow bridge, leaving her/his body. it really hits me, your sadness over this loss. i do not know you or your kitty but i cry tears for it touches my own loss of our dear dog, sparkey, who died peacefully a year ago. and i wanted to be sure you know i am sending you light and compassion, and feel with you!
Oh, so cute! Kitties will always go someplace special.
